I know you're busy with life. So cheers to you for making this a priority. Because you're busy, I believe it's my duty and honor to assist you in the journey of documenting your family.
We start with a planning meeting to bring your story to life. From choosing the best location for your family to styling in a beautiful way that will still feel classic in 20 years, you can rely on my years of experience documenting many family stories.
You can also expect to receive emails and brochures to help leading up to our session.
During the session, I pour my heart into ensuring you feel comfortable in front of my camera. I will encourage you to just enjoy an hour with your family and let me work my magic.
After the session, we will meet in person for the reveal of portraits. At this time you will get to decide how to use your images relying on my services to create precious family heirlooms. I mean, honestly, what other purchase can you make that will increase in value year after year?

Located in downtown Zionsville near Noah Grants, the studio is great for those that would like to avoid the potential stress of having their home photo ready. White walls, wood floors, and a beautiful fine art backdrop are here and ready for you.

Located in Carmel, Coxhall Gardens offers beautiful willow trees with a small pond, a large field of tall flowering grass, and flowering bushes in spring. The light through the willows makes this by far my favorite spot for outdoor sessions. There is always plenty of variety for each season!

Newfields offers beautiful grounds covered with flowers and beautiful trees. The Lilly house offers a beautiful terrace and a gorgeous patio with archways. There are so many great spots within the Newfields garden. Be prepared to walk!

My absolute favorite session location! There is something incredibly special about having your session in you home. Your images will feel like your family, and looking back years later on how your home has changed is so much fun! I will give you all of the tips to help ready your home, it doesn't have to be stressful! Trust me, you do not need a magazine home for us to make amazing images. We just need good light and a little tidying up!

The sooner the better! My calendar tends to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
My goal is to be as involved as you would prefer! Styling assistance in included in every collection and can include the use of the client wardrobe (a collection of flattering dresses for mom *Not available for Petite Collections), shopable style boards for the entire family, and as much communication about wardrobe prior to your session as you would like!
What is optional styling assistance?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I gently lead you through posing, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids! I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.

Each session and each family is unique. Sometimes a newborn needs to nurse a bit more often, a toddler may need extra time to warm up to me, and other times a toddler may need to be done in under 15 minutes!
I spend as much time as we need to ensure you have a full gallery of images you will love. For petite sessions this can be anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour (newborns). For full sessions you can expect 45 minutes to 2.5 hours (newborns).
How long is a session?
Professional hair and makeup is not included in our collections. However, I work very closely with the team at Something Blue Stylists who have kindly extended special pricing for my mamas! These women are experts at clean, natural photo ready hair and makeup.
And the best part? They will come to your home to help you! You can enjoy snuggling your new little one, in your pjs, from the comfort of your home while you relax knowing you'll be ready right on time!
Is hair & makeup included?
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, I'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when I'm scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for my calendars, I'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
How will we receive our photos?
Absolutely! I understand we all have unique situations and am happy to help however I can. With a single session booking, a retainer of $200 is required to reserve your session and your remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to your session. For memberships, your membership fee is required to reserve your session and each session fee is due 4 weeks prior to your session. If you need these broken down into smaller payments just let me know and we will find a plan that works best for you!
