An Indianapolis Photographer’s Guide to Local Christmas Gifts for Kids

Hey there! I’m Brittney Lear, an Indianapolis newborn photographer and I’m excited to share my top Christmas gift for kids. This list will contain gifts you can find here in the Indianapolis area to help support local businesses.

Indianapolis Christmas Gifts for Kids

Stocking stuffers

These freeze dried candies make great stocking stuffers for the kiddos! Chasity at Freeze Farm offers these for $5 a bag and takes orders through direct message on Facebook.

You’ll find most of these are finds from 4 Kids Books & Toys. Located just off north of 106th on Michigan Road, they offer games and toys you can’t find elsewhere. Including books by local authors! Their customer service is consistently praised for being amazing, and they’ll even wrap your gifts for you!

My boys all LOVE to dance! They dance at Talent Factory Arts and Dance, and they are currently offering bundles for spring classes and summer camps. You can get a glimpse of Oliver at the end of this video they made!

Another experience gift I recommend to moms is The Indianapolis Children’s Museum. There is so much to do here and they change exhibits enough to keep things entertaining. Owen has frequented The Indianapolis Children’s Museum since he was born and even now at 10 he still loves going!

Have young kids? Weston Family Farms in Zionsville offers one hour farm tours for $20 a family. Right now they are offering gift cards for use farm tours, their Saturday markets, and their May plant sale. My boys love gardening and animals. It’s nice to have a gift that they can use during their spring break.

The Indianapolis Zoo is another great experience in Indy! Having the membership for their annual Zoo Boo and Christmas lights is enough to bring our family back yearly. We often spend our free mornings walking through the zoo!

Conner Prairie is another great option! An immersive historic experience the kids always enjoy. They offer many seasonal festivals including the Headless Horseman Festival and A Merry Prairie Holiday!

Another great boutique is Bottles and Binkies in Brownsburg. They always have a great selection of gifts for moms and babies!
