Indianapolis Baby Photographer | Bennett’s One Year Session

As an Indianapolis baby photographer, I love seeing my families reach new milestones! John and Genie joined my BLP Baby Plan Membership and have been able to document their journey from a family of 3 to a family of 4. You can see Bennett’s newborn images here! Bennett will turn 1 on the 28th of this month. It’s hard to believe an entire year has passed since this little guy entered the world!

Bennett’s session took place at the studio in Danville. Bennett was a bit unsure of the new space at first. To help him acclimate, I had mom hop in to hold him for the images. This helped him calm down and allowed us to document his adorable grin and some sweet snuggles! Mom’s dress is borrowed from the client wardrobe.

For a portion of Bennett’s one year session, mom & dad dressed him in his hanbok for the dol. A dol is a traditional Korean ceremony to celebrate a baby’s first birthday. Items are laid out in front of baby for him to choose from. Each item holds significance and whichever the child chooses gives insight into the child’s future. I would gather Bennett is blessed with athleticism and a prosperous, long life based on the items he was drawn to!
