Indianapolis Maternity Photographer

No one wants to look like a wet dog in their maternity photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. I typically wait until we are 48 hours out from the session to make a final decision about the weather.

The sooner the better! I take on a limited number of maternity portrait sessions each month and my calendar fills quickly. I highly recommend reaching out when you're around 16 weeks pregnant.

If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck. 
I've put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family! I offer a collection of dresses for my mothers to utilize and will happily create shopable style boards if you would like! We will chat about wardrobe during your planning session.

Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera. 

You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I lead you through posing, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones. 

At the end of your maternity session we will schedule your ordering appointment. That's when I will reveal your pictures to you! You will first see a beautiful slideshow of your portraits. After viewing your slideshow we will decide how you would like to enjoy your images. I make ordering framed fine art prints, albums, and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
