After your session is reserved you will receive a planning guide & link to reserve a planning meeting. During you planning meeting, I will walk you through your session goal, wardrobe, location, and learn your artwork preferences.

While professional hair and makeup is not included in your Indianapolis boudoir photography session, I work very closely with the women of Something Blue Stylists. They are experts in the Indianapolis area at creating clean, natural makeup looks. If you would like hair and makeup, I will happily coordinate scheduling an artist for you and you will pay the artist directly at your session.
The sooner the better! I spend time getting to know my clients in order to create an experience and art that is true to them. This means I can only take on a limited number of Indianapolis boudoir sessions each month. Creating and ordering custom artwork also takes time. If you are wishing to gift photos from your session we will need around 2-3 months to ensure your artwork arrives on time.
Just like every woman is different, each boudoir session is different. After reserving your session we will meet (phone, zoom, or for coffee) and plan everything out. I will get to know you, your style, what you would like to gain from these pictures, and about your artwork needs. From there we will have a good idea of what you should wear! I will either send over some shopable links or style boards to help guide you while shopping. You can always text or call me for opinions while shopping!
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, I take photos for a living and I even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and I lead you through images, I think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. I will walk you through everything from where to look to how to position your fingers!
At the end of your session we will reserve a time for your ordering meeting. That is when your images will be revealed to you in a beautiful slide show and we will create and order your artwork. I make ordering framed fine art prints, albums, and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
