I cannot believe that the Lough family has never taken formal family photos before! They looked like professionals at their session last week! Monica reached out to me through email to schedule a family session and I instantly remembered her name from school. I love getting the chance to work with other Western Boone Alumni! It is so fun to catch up and hear about what everyone has been up to.
Monica and Eric have been together for almost 10 years and they have one beautiful daughter, Violet. The Lough family loves to spend time together outside. Coxhall Garden’s in Carmel, Indiana was the perfect spot for their family photos. We were able to get a variety of backgrounds by walking around the gardens from the beautiful pond and willows to the gorgeous mansion.
We were blessed with lovely, albeit chilly, weather for their session. Outdoor sessions are always scheduled for 2 hours before sunset because that is when we are able to get the absolute best light! Sometimes this means fighting the chill as the sun starts to set but it’s always worth it for that stunning light.
I loved spending time with the Lough family and getting to know them a bit more. Violet was so well behaved and really let her personality shine! I just love her little “ew” face 🙂
